Rylee: track awards

Rylee's end-of-year track banquet was last Tuesday night.

Tuesday was a tough day at school; Rylee got suspended from school for participating in a food fight at lunch. But she was set to receive a big award at the banquet, so the principal let her attend the banquet.

Rylee received the Freshman Award named after a guy that ran track for Tooele High School and passed away. His wife presented her the award; it was a tear-filled moment to be sure. She received this award to take home. Her name gets engraved on the plaque that stays at the school with all the other freshman that have earned this award. Pretty cool!

Rylee was one of two freshman that received their varsity letters for track this year. She was really stoked about that!
Lastly, she received her state medal for shot put. Nice face, Ry!

WAY TO GO RY!! You're like the coolest freshman I know (ok, so maybe the only freshman I know...but still pretty cool)! You must be pretty special if they still let you get your awards....even after being suspended! Your like the most popular kid...so I'm sure they didn't want any rioting because they kept you out of the awards ceremony! Just don't throw any more food (or Auntie Slap will come to visit)! Love Kris (and Beau)
