We had a great 2-day youth conference in SLC with our ward. Rory had just turned 12 and was able to go, so he was pretty excited about that.
We spent the first day on a scavenger hunt around the historical sights downtown. The kids took TRAX, visited temple square, and walked back to the hotel. After lots of pizza and soda, they went swimming in the indoor pool for several hours. It was so loud in there!

This is a picture of Rylee with the Miamaid advisor, Sister Nelson. She's really cool and has a special talent for doing nails! Rylee just loves her!
On Saturday, we got up early, had breakfast in the parking lot, then went on tours of the capitol building and the LDS conference center. We had lunch as a group just outside the temple grounds, then did baptisms for the dead.
Here's the Mulitalo kids just before heading to the temple for baptisms. Rory wasn't able to go this time; he won't be ordained until July. So he'll spend the afternoon touring the visitor's center while we do baptisms. At about 5 pm, we returned to Tooele for a BBQ. Some of the brethren in the ward cooked and prepared a delicious meal for us. We had a slide show and dessert and called it a night. It was great fun! And I was soooooo tired afterwards!
